Too Young To Realize

Sitting in his room quietly as the time goes by
Feeling alone and left out in a world of lies
His mother works from morning to night
Trying to make money like the speed of light
His father left and was never around
He couldn’t help but feel let down
Having nothing to eat but a cup of noodle
Sitting on the couch watching a game show
Waiting for his mother to come home safely
There was nothing that could keep him busy
He tried playing with some game console
Even stared at the guppies in the fishbowl
He waited till midnight and she was still out
Laying on couch in the dark as he blackout
Like a pull of gravity, he fell down a dark hole

His mind was confused and out of control
From this moment, he knew he was a goner
He helplessly feels like a coward and a loner
Breaking into tears as he shook from fear
If only somebody would magically appear
To take all his pain and nightmare away
Suddenly a dazzling light sparked his way
As if an angel has come by to lead the road
She whispered into his ear with a secret code
His eyes opened wide as he listens to her voice
Living life is a privilege and a choice
Choose wisely as she winked to him
Nodding his head as he gave her a grin
He abruptly wakes up from the mysterious dream
Only to smell a strong scent of coffee cream
His mother smiled and greeted him with loved
You fell asleep dear; I didn’t want to wake you up
The loneliness had vanished into thin air
As his mother hugged him with care
