Childhood is a part of us...and it is a moment that we cannot live over again. We all wish to be young forever, like Peter Pan, who never wanted to grow up. Life is beautiful through the innocent eyes of a child. When we grow up, we will have a better understanding of realities and how tainted the world can be. When we are young, the first world problem is not being able to eat more cookies from the jar...or how our siblings hogs the television all day! The best days is when we get to play outside in the sun and pretend the garden is our world. Now, when we are older, we think back to those carefree days. Homework is coloring pictures, and responsibilities is going to school and be a good kid. There was no money or bills to worry about. No worries about college and the increase of tuition. No worries of how we are going to live without our parents. No worries about future careers. The list goes on and on...we basically have less stress because we live under the wings of our parents. They protect us from the harms and try to keep us out of the tainted side of the world...the longer they keep us out, the better it is for us.
I'm not saying that growing up is no fun, or is a bad thing, I'm saying that childhood is precious. We can never experience childhood again, except through photos and memories. I do acknowledge that not everyone had a good childhood life. I am sorry if yours was horrible. If I can turn back time, I would of want the best for you because I truly do believed that everyone deserve a great one.
